It has been a long time coming, but the new 2012 cake designs have finally arrived!!! Take a look at the new designs here, but first we thought it might be fun to show you some of what goes into shooting 19 new cakes in one day! Our great friends Anthony and Mike at 5ive15ifteen photo company spent the day with us shooting and sharing more than a few good laughs.
Each cake design has to have its own styling, props and linens and with this many cakes to get through, we all pitched in to haul cakes, pretty up ribbons and steam the wrinkles out of a tonne of silk. The result was a lot of mess, a rather large recharge lunch from Burger’s Priest, a second wind and finally a mad dash to shoot the last cake before the sun went down.
