Introducing Trish + Co. Featuring Bobbette & Belle’s Pastries

Toronto-based designer Trish Papadakos, who is a very good friend of ours, has launched her first line of housewares, inspired by a Curious Gardener and we are excited to share photos of her lovely products which feature our Bobbette & Belle pastries. Her first collection includes carefully handcrafted boards made from locally sourced walnut, all of which are stunning! Enjoy the eye candy below and if you feel the need to indulge in a sweet treat afterwards, we don’t blame you!

Martin Short Helps Us make Truffles on Marilyn

This was one of the most fun episodes we have on Marilyn! Guest star and movie actor Martin Short hung out with us as we demonstrated how to make delicious chocolate truffles! Martin Short did not disappoint and put on a good show. This was anything but a typical 10 am segment!

Bobbette & Belle at the Wedluxe Wedding Show

This past Sunday, January 6th we were thrilled to be a part or the second annual Wedluxe Wedding show. This years show was held at the historic Royal York Hotel and was a true feast for the senses. Guests enjoyed complementary beverages, a couture fashion display, the stunning Gatsby lounge and even a special room catering to the grooms at the show.

We prepared over 5000 samples of mini cupcakes, tarts, cookies, marshmallows, french macarons and caramel corn and still managed to run out of samples by the early afternoon. The response to our booth was more that we ever could have hoped for and we can’t wait to sign up for next year. Our booth had of four sides, each comprised of a unique colour coordinated cake and full sweet table. The corners of the booth featured all white cake designs to offset all the colour on the sides. Below are just a few of the details, we will share more in a second post early next week. Thanks to Angela Desveaux, Carolyn Clark and the entire Wedluxe team for going above and beyond for both the attendees and the vendors!
