The location is very nice but the cupcakes were very plain and dry tasting. It was kind of disappointing because it was for a birthday and we were excited to try them.
I had heard a lot of good things about this bakery and what a disappointment. This business is over hyped. The quality and taste are way below expectations. I preordered cupcakes for a birthday and they tasted like they were made the previous day. Not fresh, poorly quality and the taste is sub-par. Not bad but definitely not good and definitely not worth the price.Loblaws has better cupcakes.Don’t waste your money here, it is a sad disappointment for a bakery
Visited the store on Aug 29, 2025. I had heard some really good things about the store and products so I was very excited to try a few things.Positives - Gorgeous place. Very aesthetic and the ambiance is very welcoming. Clean place and the dessert display was beautiful. Made me want to try everything but we settled for 2 cupcakes for take out.Negative - customer service. I am big on customer service and it was very disappointing. No small talk, no patience. Not being offered a bag for the things we bought. A rush to serve us so we could get out of the way was not what I was expecting.The intention behind this review is not to affect the business negatively. As a matter of fact, it may not make any difference whatsoever in your sales. You have a beautiful store with some of the best desserts the city has to offer. Being served by someone who is a people person could just make someone’s day better. The cake may or may not be the best but the customer always remembers the service.Cupcakes were yum though. We got the pina colada and chocolate raspberry and loved them both.
Cupcakes looked pretty but tasted stale with underwhelming flavourless icing.Not a good choice for top dollar sweet treats.

DON’T buy cakes from here unless you want to get disappointed.The cake was ordered well in advance and it still arrived extremely dry and inedible. The frosting was just okay and we had ordered the mango and passion fruit flavor but there was absolutely no taste of mango or passion fruit at all. After trying the cake I was so disappointed that I went to check the reviews and saw so many people have already complained about the same issue with dry cakes. Yet they continue to serve this stale product without realizing they are ruining someone’s special day. It honestly feels like a scam to charge seventy dollars for such a cake. Grocery stores sell better cakes for half the price.
Bought about two dozen macarons, but found out that they gave me one less than what I paid for when I got home. Some of the macarons got damaged due to their poorly designed box
For our wedding favours, we ordered Bobbette & Belle's beautiful custom mini cakes for each guest. They were gorgeous perfection and looked beautiful at each guest's place setting. We received a ton of feedback saying how delicious they were. Bobbette & Belle surpassed our expectations and we are customers for life!
Placed an order ahead of time for floral-themed buttercream and vanilla cupcakes for an event. We received prompt confirmation of the order and communication was easy. Our order was ready at the agreed upon time and pickup went smoothly. The cupcakes were absolutely beautiful and travelled well - we received lots of compliments on their appearance. That said, the flavour and texture left much to be desired… the cupcake base was incredibly dry and tasted stale (despite us eating them within 2 hours of the pickup time). The buttercream was also very firm and lacked any sweetness, reminding us of refrigerated butter in both flavour and texture. Not sure if this was just an “off batch”, but it was quite disappointing.
My wife got some cupcakes and a brownie. The brownie was decent but the cupcakes were sooo dry. Seems like that's a common occurrence. Definitely won't be back.
Bobbette & Belle made the most incredible lemon cake for our vow renewal—it was an absolute showstopper. Elegant, beautifully crafted, and hands down the best-tasting cake we've ever had. What a beautiful patisserie. The brownie was excellent. Moist and not overly sweet. We absolutely loved their sticky toffee pudding. Best we've ever had!
I pass this place everyday on my way to work and the smell always brings me into the store; however, it's not up to par...I have tried the following:Double Chocolate Cupcake; fluff cream not decadent, nor rich disappointing.Red velvet cupcake; again not rich, light frosting, leaves you empty on the inside.Raisin Scone; again looks better then taste, they DO NOT provide extra like offer butter, jam, on the side or warm up your scone.Vibe: not friendly, like they are doing customers a favour checking them out at the counter..So far the experience of walking into the store and having the smell of the item actually match the taste or experience has been sub-par.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share how deeply disappointed I was with my recent experience at Bobbette & Belle.For my milestone birthday, I placed a special order for a strawberry shortcake. I called ahead to specifically request that the cake be moist — something that was incredibly important to me. Instead of reassurance, I was met with a dismissive and condescending response. The person I spoke to brushed off my concern, insisting they'd “never had complaints” and that their cakes are “always moist.” That should have been a red flag.Unfortunately, the reality was even worse than I feared. On the night of my birthday, I was shocked by how dry the cake was — more like stale bread than cake. There was barely any filling, and what little there was did nothing to help. If they had tried to make it drier, I don’t think they could have succeeded more.I took one bite and couldn’t bring myself to have more. What hurt most was seeing slices left untouched on my guests’ plates. A celebration I had looked forward to was overshadowed by a truly underwhelming cake.If you’re considering ordering from Bobbette & Belle, I’d strongly advise you to think twice. For the price, you deserve something far better than what I received. I won’t be returning.
We've ordered numerous cakes from here and it's always delicious, fresh and beautifully decorated. We ordered one most recently for my daughter's baptism and the compliments were nonstop. Bobbette & Belle even gave us an extra mini cake as a gift - which we enjoyed the next day. We can't wait to order from here again.

I ordered two boxes of cupcakes. They were presented beautifully in the boxes and everyone was wowed when I opened the boxes up. The taste also delivered, my favorite is their chocolate cake and vanilla icing, the chocolate was such a rich chocolate taste the icing the perfect whipped buttercream, nice and sweet (not too sweet)!
We order an 8" custom cake for my daughter's first birthday and a dozen cupcakes to go along with it. The whole ordering process was seamless! Great customer service. The cake design exceeded my expectations. They absolutely nailed it! The taste of the cake was delicious, only flaw was the vanilla sponge was a little on the dry side. As for the lemon cupcakes we ordered, they were phenomenal!

love B&B! my fav cake is hazelnut . We recently served the black forest for our Christmas party and it was huge hit with everyone. I wish they opened one near me so I can pop in for blueberry scones whenever I want.
Bobbette and Belle never disappoints! I have tried almost all of their cakes. My favourite treats are the lemon meringue pie and the blue berry scones are perfecto 💕

I've been to this cafe 4 times and every time I leave with the feeling that it's overrated.The alfajores are not good at all.
What a lovely destination for tea and something sweet! As a green tea fan, I'm delighted to find excellent sencha and jasmine here. Try the zucchini walnut muffins or the Hello Dollies, both make a perfect afternoon treat. Cakes by the slice too, I can recommend hazelnut chocolate. You'll find a choice of seating areas--a living room nook, communal wooden tables, a few bistro tables for two. From there you can watch customers flock in to pick up cakes, tarts and macarons to take home. Service is always friendly and helpful.
The chocolate hazelnut cake was amazing, blueberry scone was best I ever had, the latte was wonderful, cupcakes were delicious, and I even bought one of the cookbooks. Staff was sooo friendly!! I would definitely recommend!!!
My husband and I have purchased many celebration cakes and pastries from this lovely place! Service has always been lovely and the cakes are our absolute fave!!! Stand outs are the Ultimate Chocolate and the Salted Caramel cakes! They have been such at hit everytime we purchase them! Special mention goes to the sticky toffee pudding. We have had the small versions of them but definitely will be trying the larger one next!!

Easily the best cakes and cupcakes I’ve ever had and I’m not a young person! Actually our whole family has agreed they make the best tasting cakes and buttercream we have had.Great flavour of the various sponge cakes and always moist. And the buttercream is also full of flavour without being too sweet. Perfection. Also had their macarons and just like their cakes/cupcakes, perfection.They have many other pastries and pies and do wonderful custom cakes. I haven’t tried their other pastries but they all look amazing. I love their cakes and cupcakes so much but I really need to try their other offerings.One of my first times visiting years ago, I saw them come out with a large teapot made from cake. The intricate details on the teapot were plentiful and was truly a work of art. Looked just like a hand painted antique teapot but much larger!This is our go to spot for some years now and there is no need to even try anywhere else.You can sit in and enjoy a beverage and choose from a wide variety of sweet goodness.They also have an easy online pre-ordering available to ensure your selections/flavours are available to pickup.Service is friendly and top-notch.

We always get Bobette & Belle desserts for the holidays because they are outstanding. Lemon Meringue, pumpkin pie and apple pie for thanksgiving & the bread pudding at Christmas is amazing. I also got a couple of cupcakes the last time I was in (pina colada & chocolate) and the chocolate was probably the best chocolate cake I've ever had, definitely would get a full size cake in that. Oh & don't forget the blueberry scones, the best!

We got their pink hydrangea cake and it is absolutely stunning! I really am so impressed with just how beautiful their cake decorating is. For how beautiful the cake is, the taste is just not good. The cake itself was dry and dense, the frosting was shockingly bad! I know they’re known for their buttercream but it was just so thick, lacking flavour, and hard - almost like sweet lard. Considering it was $70.00 I was very disappointed. We ate a few bites but just couldn’t finish it. I’m sure this is a lovely spot to sit down and have a hot drink and pastry but in terms of expensive whole cakes I would suggest looking somewhere else.
I needed a carrot cake made fresh and delivered on the Sunday of a holiday long weekend. Bobbette & Belle was fantastic! The ordering process was easy and the delivery seamless. The courier was careful, kind and courteous. Most important, the cake was delicious! I would recommend Bobbette and Belle to anyone anytime!
After having gotten a Bobette & Belle cake last year for a birthday, it’s become somewhat of a tradition now to have a B&B cake for celebrations because they’re truly the most incredible! The cake itself is always perfectly soft and moist, the buttercream frosting is scrumptious- so creamy and flavourful but not too sweet - and they always look amazing!We’ve tried the Banana Cream Cake, the Strawberry Shortcake and the classic chocolate delux cake with a blue buttercream frosting. I love this place so much I will probably ask them to make all the cakes for my wedding festivities too 10/10
